Smoking Cessation – For Employees & Dependents

Smoking Cessation: If you’ve tried to stop smoking before and weren’t able to, you’re not alone. More than 70% of smokers want to quit but few succeed without help. This five-week program conducted by a professional counselor from Deer Oaks EAP is designed to give you that help. The sessions explore the smoking addiction, provide guidance to master the first few days off cigarettes, help you master obstacles to staying off cigarettes, and ultimately assist you in staying off cigarettes forever.

–          The sessions are open to all Alamo College employees AND their dependents.

–          Session times have been changed and we are offering a free lunch to help make it easier to attend. The first session is Friday, September 21 from 12-2:00pm in Redbud Hall (RLC118). The additional four sessions are held on the following four Fridays from 12-1:00pm

–         Seating is limited. You must register by Friday, September 14 – either through the Org Learning SharePoint site, http://share.alamo.edu/nvc/orglearn/SitePages/Home.aspx,  or by calling Latrice Wilkinson, 486-4920.
