August 9, 2016 | Manny V. Martinez Congratulations to Northwest Vista College student, Alayah Benavidez, who won the title of Miss United States 2016 on Aug. 6 at the national pageant in Las Vegas. Alayah is on track to graduate with her associate degree this fall and plans to attend UTSA. She is pursuing a career in teaching and says NVC has helped further her education while being debt free.
