Graduation Ceremony

Alumni often participate in the annual Commencement ceremony as greeters, ushers and/or hosts.  We invite you to participate in the Commencement rehearsal, with the distribution of regalia and/or hosting at the reception. Library Services

Mentoring NVC Students

Remember how certain things in college were difficult and may have slowed your progress? Help a current student by being a mentor, offering insight, encouragement , and practical experience. For more information please visit our volunteer page.

Service Learning and Civic Engagement

If your employer is a non-profit organization, you may request a service learning class to help with a specific project. The time frame is tied to our semesters.

Or if you are interested in a particular way to get involved in the community, there are many civic engagement opportunities which include our staff, faculty and students.

Student Recruitment

Assist recruiter/advisors during High School College Nights held in your area. Volunteers join staff members at a recruitment table to answer general questions and distribute information about NVC. For more information please visit our volunteer page.
