You are challenged by Northwest Vista College Alumni and Friends to consider paying it forward by supporting Vista scholarships. On this #GivingTuesday my family and I are blessed to support scholarship programs to honor the names of our fathers, Mr. Donald Huggins and Mr. James Stewart. The donations help promote student academics and athletics at NVC to seniors in Northside Independent School District and other potential incoming freshmen who may have an interest in digital video/media, as well as other arts such as dancing and drama.” Michael and Chasmi Stewart recently made a generous donation toward Northwest Vista scholarships. The couple says they were blessed to be in a position to help others and wanted to give something back. The former NVC students, who are “celebrating their 10 years of marriage,” were exploring ways to honor the life work of both their respective fathers when the idea to support scholarships came to mind. “We hope this helps generate an attitude of giving back to the Northwest Vista College campus and to the future leaders in our community,” they said.
