What her co-workers say anonymously

“So many core values describe Caroline, but caring is the one I chose because she is always helping others. She helps any student who comes to her or even looks a bit confused. She doesn't turn anyone away because he/she may not need help in that discipline. She also went to an employee's home when the employee had surgery. Caroline wanted to make sure the employee had food and whatever medication she needed from the pharmacy. As a supervisor, Caroline never leaves an employee wondering about policies or correctness. She makes sure we all understand and is very approachable. She cares if we have a break especially when working a longer shift than usual. She has many times brought pizza to work just to show her appreciation to us for doing our jobs.

She also participates in anything having to do with English and Reading in terms of meetings, planning the agenda, creating PowerPoints or Prezi presentations, and offers to take on tasks that others find overwhelming. Caroline is probably the most caring person with whom I have had the pleasure of working with. Northwest Vista College personnel should be honored to have Caroline on the team.”
