Advocating for Migrant Farm Workers

Kudos to NVC Grant Writer Javier Morales, who was recently invited to be a keynote speaker at Wallace State Community College and to speak at Athens State University for Hispanic Heritage Month, both institutions are in Alabama.

Javier received his associate's degree from Wallace State and his bachelor's degree from Athens State. They asked him to speak about the work he accomplished advocating for migrant farm workers while he was in Alabama.

In addition to his speaking engagements, Javier recently published his first e-book, called “Parental Involvement Factors that Impact School Readiness Among Pre-School Age Children of Migrant Farm-Workers.
