June 16, 2016 | SharkAdmin “Getting my certificate has given me the opportunity to give people information they might not otherwise have to improve their lives.” Miguel Padilla received his Community Health Certificate in 2011 and is already working full time in the field to give people vital information on how to improve their lifestyles to prevent diseases. Miguel works for the Daughters of Charity La Mission Clinic and El Carmen Wellness Center. There, he gives sessions in how to prevent diabetes and also nutrition classes. “My certificate in Community Health, give me the satisfaction of being able to be in contact with the community.” Despite having a full work schedule, Miguel already has his sights on earning an associate degree in Community Health.
