August 17, 2012 | SharkAdmin Welcome to the new look of La revista, the online employee magazine. While the publication took an abbreviated break during the summer, NVC PR Team members were actively searching for a new and improved software tool. Most all the sections of La reVista will remain the same. However, some big changes you will see in the publication include: New URL link – www.MyLaReVista.org An active layout – The publication will still appear weekly, but previous stories will be available to view in the different channels, such as the President’s Message, Stories and Highlights. Campus Announcements – will now appear on every page of the issue. Rotating banner on the front page – Different stories or employee highlights will be selected to appear in the rotating banner. Search – With this new tool, La reVista can now be easily searched by keywords. Archive – Previous stories will remain on the old site with an archive link located on the new publication. Thanks to NVC Senior Multimedia Specialist Shawn Harward and Google Analytics, we have several years of trend data on La reVista. From 2008 to 2010, La reVista averaged 71,917 visits for the three-year period. Also during this time, La reVista’s home page ranked as the 50th most visited Web page on the NVC website Web page in the NVC Website. Previous data also revealed that each issue gets about 1,000 visits and the publication has a low bounce rate, meaning readers who click on La reVista stay within the publication.
