August 16, 2013 | SharkAdmin The NVC Library’s One Search is a single search box that will help you find relevant search results faster. Instead of searching the library catalog for books and a database for journal articles, you can use One Search to search them all. This new tool cuts down on the time spent researching; and is a similar tool used at four-year universities. It mimics the “Google-like interface” that we have all come to know and love – but with One Search, all the results are credible and full-text. It provides access to most of the library’s full-text content (electronic and print), including peer-reviewed journals, print books, e-books, magazines, databases and streaming videos.
