October 8, 2012 | SharkAdmin I would like to invite everyone to read the “2012 NVC President’s Report,” which shares some achievements and some challenges related to our three key goals of student completion, student learning, and sustainability. We will introduce you to a few of our students and to the extraordinary possibilities they are achieving. The publication’s theme this year is “Imagining the Possibilities.” I believe the community college movement epitomizes the ideals of democracy and “the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people.” When Northwest Vista College was established, we, the faculty and staff, imagined a college where engaging students in learning together allows them to imagine and achieve extraordinary possibilities. Click here to read the President's Report. We will be producing only a few print copies to use for special needs. If your area is highlighted in this report and you’d like to obtain a physical copy, please contact Renata Serafin, director of Community & Public Relations. A special thanks goes to all the folks who put this report together including former NVC art faculty Karl Frey, who’s painting, “Share Your Experience,” was used for the cover of the publication. I appreciate the work of Public Relations and the Advisory Team who worked on the project.
