June 16, 2016 | SharkAdmin “NVC has influenced me in the right direction of my goal to work in the field of Communication.” Katelyn is a 2012 Northwest Vista College alumni and a current Communications major at UTSA. She graduated from NVC with a degree in New Media Communications. Katelyn also works part-time with the Northwest Vista College Public Relations area, where she started as an intern and practicum student. She credits a degree from NVC with helping her pursue a bachelor’s degree and choose a career. “I have had a tremendous amount of help from professors, students, employees, and co-workers on career and educational skills,” she says. “I wish I could finish my bachelor’s degree here!” Her advice to current students, “Don’t take a semester off if you don’t have to, it will be much harder to motivate yourself to get back into school.” Favorite Vista Value: Synergy
