We want to help you stay connected with the College through news and services available to graduates of NVC. This May, nearly 500 graduates walked the stage becoming the15th graduating class at NVC. I know you join me in congratulating the Class of 2012 on their accomplishments and in welcoming them to our distinguished community of alumni. I hope that regardless of when you graduated, you will find this update useful. Communications, is now co-host of Daytime @ Nine on KABB FOX San Antonio. The new hour-long lifestyle program will explore all things San Antonio and airs weekday mornings at 9am. (Photo courtesy of KABB FOX San Antonio) Campus News and Events Summer Kids Camps at NVC are Now Enrolling Children’s Enrichment Program (CEP) offer hands-on activities that promote learning while having fun in classes such as Math, Music, Dance, Art, Reading, Science, Fencing and Martial Arts. Classes are Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. KIDS Jam Summer Camps are weekly thematic camps (e.g., Secret Agent Camp, Art Explorers, Astronomy Camp, Basketball/Volleyball Camp, Dance/Cheer Camp) for 1st grade through 8th grade students. Summer Art Exhibit This summer, the Palmetto Center for the Arts will feature works from Rio Grande Valley artists David Freeman and Chris Leonard, showcasing work on life in the RGV and deep south Texas. The exhibit will be on display through the first week of September 2012. Thanks Rackspace! 4-Day Work Week From July 4 through July 27, the Alamo Colleges will be operating on a 4-Day work week.
