NVC Student Presentation Wows at Donor Luncheon

[image 1]On Dec. 5, at St. Philip’s College, the Alamo Colleges Foundation hosted the annual Chancellor’s Donor Appreciation Luncheon.

At this event, student presentations from each of the five colleges engaged the audience of distinguished guests which included former Representative Charles “Charlie” Gonzalez and numerous supporters of the Alamo Colleges. Each five-minute presentation informed donors from our community about the programs offered at each of the Alamo Colleges.

Instructor/Coordinator, Teri Dimas, and students Daniel Morgan and Daniel Ortiz presented on Northwest Vista College’s Personal Fitness Trainer Program. They demonstrated physical assessments used in personal training and enlightened the audience about this new program.

The group did a wonderful job of representing NVC, as did the students who met and greeted donors throughout the event. These student reps. included Sharman Castillo, Jose Joles, Natalie Martinez, and Jelmy Rivas. We are so thankful for their participation and significant contribution to the special occasion.”
