January 27, 2013 | SharkAdmin Northwest Vista College’s Art Department will honor two outstanding women artists, CATHY CUNNINGHAM-LITTLE AND KATHY SOSA to celebrate Woman’s History Month. Their “Annual Women’s Exhibit” from March 1 to March 31 is in the Palmetto Center for the Arts. Theopening reception is Friday, March 1 from noon to 1:30 pm. The opening reception is in conjunction with the Student Sculpture Exhibition, opening Feb. 28 – March 24, curated by Jack Robbins. The two featured visual artists have been chosen by curator, Diane Mazur, for the quality of their individual artwork and because they epitomize this year’s theme: Woman Inspiring Innovation Through Imagination. Both artists have had an extremely prolific year, and their work continues to develop in profound ways. They serve as great role models to students as extraordinary artists and also successful business people.
